I am a credentialed music educator and Heartwood Charter School vendor with over 15 years of music teaching experience in the classical and jazz styles, proficient in various keyboard, wind, brass, and string instruments. 

 

I began my musical journey at the age of 6 with a growing love for both piano and flute. My passion for music continued to grow through high school and into college where I obtained a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and California Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University culminating in a solo performance at Weill Hall. I had the privilege of serving as the Associate Director of Instrumental Music at College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, California. During that time, I developed the instrumental music program, directed concerts, and taught jazz band, concert band, string orchestra, pep band, and piano classes.

 

After over five years of teaching, I made the decision to leave the school classroom and continue my passion for music at my home music studio teaching and inspiring students of all ages. When I am not practicing music, you can find me hiking, gardening, enjoying a good book and cup of tea, or hanging out with my cat Louie.​
